Some hooks can be turned off. You need to copy the text file hooksConfig.txt from %APPDATA%\\pyRevit\\Extensions\\CustomTools.extension\\config\\hooksConfig.txt to this location C:\\pyRevitExtensions\\CustomTools\\hooksConfig.txt
Then you can turn off hooks which are cancellable. You need to change the value from “1” to “0” for each hook which you want to turn off. The process of turning the hooks off is shown in the video below.
